My Haunted House

Do you believe in ghosts?

I do, but I don't think I ever ran into one until I moved into my house.

My husband and I moved into our new home about 2 weeks before our wedding, about 2 1/2 months ago.

The day after we moved in I was at the house moving some things around when my husband had gone over to our old house to get some things. I was moving the couch around the living room when I saw a shadow. I looked over and it just faded away.

Okay.
Maybe I am just seeing things.

So, I was moving some stuff around again and I saw the shadow.
I was getting that feeling that someone was standing next to me and there was a legit black shadow in the space.

Okay.
Again, maybe I am just seeing things.
Or maybe I was just wiggin' out because it was the first time I was alone in a new environment.

So, my husband comes over and we start to move things around, and I don't even mention what I had seen.

My husband already thinks I am crazy, that would probably just put the icing on the cake.

Anyway, we got all moved in, got married two weeks later and started our lives together.

Cool.

Well one night we are sleeping and out of no where our dog Chico wakes up in the middle of the night just barking his butt off.

I wake up thinking well maybe Blake has gotten up to go to the bathroom, or is even sleep walking.

Nope. Blake's sound asleep.
Great.

Well, Chico is still barking and at this point I am thinking that maybe there is a burglar in our house.
Do I want to get up and have the burglar kill me?
No.
Should I get grab the gun that we have yet I have never even shot before?
Umm no, that's a disaster waiting to happen and I don't really feel like being on the news tomorrow morning.

So, I get up and grab Chico with me and he is still barking, somewhat growling in our pitch black house. I walk down the hallway, and even in the dark, there goes the little black spot. It moved as if it was walking right out of the door.

OH. SHIT!

Okay. Here I am telling myself "Lisset, turn around and go to bed. Do not look out the window and scare yourself more." So I go back to bed and Chico is fine. He lays right back down and goes to sleep.

Damn, is it really that easy?
We just possibly saw our ghost friend and here he is just passing right back out.
Do I wake Blake up and risk the chance of him thinking I am A.) More crazy than I already am or B.) Have him go all psychotic crazy on me because I woke him up.

Yeah no.

While I am laying in bed, trying not to freak out, trying to get myself some more sleep I am also praying I don't have nightmares if and when I do finally go back to sleep!

Well, I finally fall back asleep. All is good.

I go on about my life and but I was still thinking about that black spot I saw.

I think it was a ghost.
Not sure.
But def not going to mess with that thing.

It's not messing with me, just wants some cold ac and a place to hang out... go right ahead ghost, no worries here.

Okay so one day I am laying down on the couch waiting for my husband to get home from work and out of nowhere Chico goes running to the window and starts barking.

Okay, my husband isn't home, no one is outside, not even a squirrel or a bird. Heck, I didn't even see a wasp or anything.

It's real. We have a ghost.

So I tell my husband about this finally a few weeks ago and he was like "well, I haven't see anything."

And that's it.

Really Blake.
Really?

Basically I got the vibe that he doesn't believe me and he thinks I am crazy.

WTF.

Okay, so the day we get back from our trip that I told him on, we were in the house hangin' out and there goes the black spot.

This time it was outside on the porch. I saw it move towards around the house.

Oh shit.

Now it's pissed because I've told someone about it.

Where we live it's been said that it was build on an old cemetery.
Not to mention around where we live there are houses that have been said to have paranormal activity.

The thing is, I belive in ghosts, I've never had an encounter with one but I think they exist.

There's one in my house.
I think it's Casper.
Not his brothers because they were mean and crazy.
This one is friendly.
Someone I know.

So technically is the house really "haunted" or just occupied with humans and spirits?

Until next time....
